About the Program

Introducing The Industry 4.0 Incubation Program,in partnership with Rx100 startups, a pioneering initiative designed to support startups with basic prototypes in the Industry 4.0 sector. We understand the unique challenges that hardware founders face, including limited capital, extended lead times, and the need for specialized technical expertise. This program aims to bridge the gap between poc and prototype, providing startups with the resources and guidance they need to scale their innovations.

Objective

The aim is to identify, nurture, and accelerate startups and entrepreneurs focused on developing cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies.

Program Components

Knowledge Sharing

Regulatory and Policy Support – Guidance on navigating India’s regulatory environment, particularly in areas such as data protection, manufacturing standards, and export regulations.

Access to Resources

Providing startups with access to essential facilities such as co-working spaces, advanced laboratories, smart manufacturing hubs, specialized Industry 4.0 equipment, and cutting-edge technologies for prototyping, testing, and experimentation. 

Training and Workshops

Conduct specialized workshops focused on enhancing the technical capabilities of startups’ prototypes and preparing them for production.

Mentorship and guidance

Engage startups with industry experts and mentors who will provide guidance on technology refinement, market validation, and business acceleration

Industry connect

Provide avenues for startups to explore market opportunities, establish partnerships, and initiate discussions with potential customers and collaborators.

Funding and Investment Support

Assist startups in preparing for investment pitches and connect them with potential investors interested in supporting innovations in the Industry 4.0 space.

Eligibility Criteria

Early-stage hardware startups with innovative ideas, products, or technologies.

Researchers, scientists, and innovators seeking to commercialize their innovations and inventions.

Startups with basic prototypes in the field of Industry 4.0, operating at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4, are eligible to apply for the program.

Preference will be given to startups demonstrating strong potential for scalability and market impact.

Here’s is how it works:
○ Step 1: Apply for the program from the mentioned link.
○ Step 2: Make sure you mention all the required details
○ Step 3: Applications will be evaluated and shortlisted by a committee of experts
○ Step 4: Shortlisted startups will be given the opportunity to pitch their business
plan virtually in front of our panel.
○ Step 5: The results will be announced shortly after the pitch and selected
startups will be onboarded to the program.

The program offers comprehensive support, including mentorship from I-
Ventures@ISB & Rx100 Startups, tailored masterclasses & workshops, pitch
clinics, storytelling, market access and investor connects

There is no upfront program fee. However, for startups selected for funding of up
to $300K from Rx100 Startups, an equity of 8% will be required in exchange for
the investment.
