India’s startup revolution has extended its reach beyond metropolitan cities, penetrating into Tier 2 and 3 cities, where resilient women entrepreneurs are addressing diverse challenges. Government policies, digital infrastructure, and supportive initiatives have catalyzed this ecosystem, particularly empowering women entrepreneurs across various sectors.
DiscoverShe, an initiative conceived to uplift and support enterprising women from Tier 2 and 3 cities in India, aims to address this gap. These women are not only shaping their communities but also driving economic growth with their innovative ventures. However, access to funding, particularly working capital, has remained a significant hurdle for many women-led SMEs.
Through tailored support, access to networks, mentorship, and funding opportunities, DiscoverShe seeks to empower these women entrepreneurs, enabling them to thrive and succeed in their entrepreneurial journey.
Objectives
Tapping entrepreneurial talents in 25 Tier 2 and 3 cities of India with multicity 2-day bootcamp.
- Empowering women micro-entrepreneurs from smaller cities, providing pitching opportunities and incubation.
- Inducing entrepreneurial mindset among the ambitious and bright youth.
- Creating awareness of the support system laid by the Government of India.
With multicity yatras, DiscoverShe provides women entrepreneurs a platform to pitch ideas and access resources.

Eligibility Criteria
- Mandatory 18 years old and above
- Minimum 10th Pass
- Experience in operating an enterprise is a plus
- Running a business already is a plus
Timelines
Inviting Applications & Yatras
2-day bootcamp on basics of entrepreneurship, digital literacy, financial literacy, followed by speed pitching sessions.
Shortlisting & Grand Finale
The top 50 enterprises will be shortlisted for the Grand Finale, where they will pitch for funding and incubation support at DLabs / AIC ISB.
Finally, the top 20 startups will be onboarded.
Program Phase
Active engagement with domain experts and 1-1 sessions and clinics.
Linkage with Govt. schemes, Regulatory Compliances, Market Intelligence, Access to Technology & Skills.
